Is It Just Me?

Miranda Hart gave this title to her book about her life and mishaps.

Cheered up and loved by so many people Miranda tells in her book about the reality of her present life to her imaginary young 18 year old self, as she bounces along her life path with mishaps and battles with office life, hobbies, cooking and dating.

On TV, as well as stand up comedy, she plays a very caring Midwife who is dyspraxic.  Does this resonate with you?

Is anyone else out there a Miranda Fan??

Other brilliant dyspraxic actors are Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Fonzi from Friends (he leaps onto a motor bike, which is propped up on the other side so it does not fall over)… And he looks so good on it too!

If you want to act, get out there – join your local Amateur Dramatic Theatre (if you are lucky enough to have one ) help with the back stage jobs ,take small parts to start with  and  go to acting or singing classes.  Let that creative talent shine through!

Dyspraxia Action! will be encouraging some theatre work in Kent, so let us know if you are interested.  Details will be given of these and other creative activities at our official launch on June 6, from  6.15pm – 9.30 pm in Faversham Kent.  Contact us to book your seat and get more information. We hope to see lots of you there.

Till next week – have fun!  Frabo
