There were Pirates galore at the Nautical Fair in Faversham on 4 July . We got children making pirate hats and eye patches on a sunny day by the boat-filled Creek! Flags were flying at the top mast and there was even a gallion to climb aboard. We were delighted to meet and talk to local families who have one or more members with Dyspraxia, but sadly the story was the same – the difficulty of getting a diagnosis in primary school, not to mention reasonable adjustments at work!
Many commented how vital our charity was.
Thanks to our helpers and our visitors we made 75 dubloons for our treasure chest!
